I AM SO EXCITED!!!!! As I have been sharing cultural information and personal experiences of my Filipino heritage, I invited my social media followers to ask questions or comment on what they would like to see me answer or post during this month. One of friends and followers asked me if I would share some information about Filipino cuisine. Sure, no problem. And then I thought. Why don’t I host my first event since the pandemic started and contact a local chef to see if she would be willing to collaborate with me. And she said YES! Now that it’s set up, who is going to join me for lunch next Thursday, May 13 at 11AM????? I’m hosting my first hosting event in over a year!!!!!!
So I created the social media graphic above, resized them for several different platforms and started inviting my friends and community to join me for lunch with the following copy:

We’ll introduced our community to a local restaurant (if they don’t already know about it) and support that small business as well. Now that I am fully vaccinated, I can’t wait to start gathering responsibly with others.
