IT WAS ALL BECAUSE OF CREATIVITY
Creativity provided the opportunity for Tess Rollins to share with others in her community. "Simply Enhance," is an original, public-access show produced by Herndon Community Television (HCTV). In December 2015 and again in February 2016, Tess was a guest on the HCTV show, "Herndon Arts with Amy," hosted by Amy Skiavo, and after observing the on-air chemistry between the two women the HCTV's Executive Director Nancy Rose offered her the opportunity to create and produce her own program. This project also became a labor of love, as Tess was able to spend some time with her youngest son Jason who worked behind the scenes as part of the film crew, as well as some editing and directing before we left for college. How many kids get to tell their parents what to do even for a short period of time?

Late spring of 2016, Tess launched "Simply Enhance," a show which is inspired by Fred Rogers and Martha Stewart. The show visits and highlights small business owners and events in the community. The catch is that usually during the last segment of the show, the guest creates a project designed by Tess. It's a great way to get to get to know your neighbors and also show people that they are creative even if they don't believe that they are.
